It seems that our forms on our site: http://www.nationalcircuitbreaker.com are not being received when they are submitted through a mobile device. When I submit forms (tests) through desktop they are received in my email quickly. But if the form is sent through a phone or a tablet, it doesn’t get received into my mailbox. I have already contacted the hosting company and they said the mail server is running at optimum capacity and if it was their issue then desktop form submissions would not work. Therefore they told me to contact Contact Form 7 support for a solution. Any help is appreciated. Thank you in advance!

  • This could be due to a JavaScript conflict with either your current WordPress theme or one of the other plugins you are using – see Contact Form 7 Email Issues – there is a link there that covers JavaScript Conflicts.

Problems occurring on only some browsers or devices is relatively common with JavaScript Conflicts.

I’d also recommend using a submission storage plugin like Contact Form DB or Contact Form 7 Storage to save all your CF7 form submits to the WP database. These are often used by experienced WP users – they provide a robust record of all form submissions even when things go a little wrong.

I’m going to install that plugin. Thanks for that tip. The interesting part is that now I am getting mobile emails. But I am not getting emails from @yahoo and @gmail addresses that are being sent from any device. What could be the reason for that?

So the plugin is helping and they are showing up in the database. Which is a good thing right? I’m assuming that means the plugin is working? I’m not sure what to do from here though.

It looks like it was an issue with the server and the “from” field. Thank you so much for your help!
