Hey,
I was getting mails through WooCommerce on new orders but ever since I changed my email id I’m not receiving any mails. I installed the plugin email-log and it says: “sent status= could not instantiate mail function.Please guide me what to do further.

Could you please elaborate on when you say you changed the email id?
If you changed the email address recently, the issue could be related to an invalid email address.
You can double-check the email address where all the New Order email notifications are sent by going to
WooCommerce > Settings > Emails > New Order

I Recently changed my hosting and got email by my domain name.
I double checked , the email address I am using is correct, can you please look into this matter and let me know what can be done further to resolve the issue.Regards.

1. Are you referring to the Email Log plugin? Does its log show that the new order emails are getting generated? Please let us know, as that will determine the next steps. FYI, we often recommend the plugin WP Mail Logging for this purpose.
2. Please be sure that the new email address you’re using is functional. Is it receiving emails from other sources than WooCommerce?
3. If yes, then you need to check if by any chance the emails are landing in the receiving email account’s spam box.

1. Yes I am referring to Email Log by Sudar. Please refer to https://beneindia.com/i-need-help/ to check what the log states.
2. Yes the email is functional
3. I checked the spam box and there is no email from woocommerce.Is it just the new order email that doesn’t go out? What about regular emails like registration or contact forms?
This is to check if it’s only new order email that’s having issues.
For email logging that we’re most familiar with, kindly install WP Mail logging

I have Captcha on my contact form so I am not sure if I am receiving the emails on that, do you mind submitting a trial on https://beneindia.com/contact-us/ so I can confirm if the issue is with new order only or not.
Also, I have installed WP Mail Logging please guide me further on how to check the issue.

There is no CAPTCHA on your contact page or at least it doesn’t display for me. Here’s a screenshot:

We do not provide support for third-party plugins on this forum, for assistance with WP Mail Logging there’s a separate support forum here.
Checking the “Sent Status” on your screenshot it appears that the email is not being sent. If the emails aren’t being generated, most likely, something is conflicting with WooCommerce. This guide will show you how to check for conflicts.

If you see the bottom right there is a CAPTCHA on the website which blocks the spam and when I am trying to submit the contact form it detects spam, that’s the only reason I asked it would be great if someone submit a trial

I ran a test on the contact form and got the error below:

This means the address for sending is invalid or your host cannot send out emails.Can you reach out to your host on why your site cannot initiate emails? They should be able to do some SMTP tests…
