  • I am using WP Version 3.4.2 and Custom Contact Form version

    I have gotten a contact form laid out here:

    When someone fills out the form, the Successful Submission message never appears and I never receive an email. I have the email submission form set to Yes, I am using GMail to host my email. I have tried using the wordpress default method which gives me the successful submission message but no email. I switch over to SMTP and input for host, 465 for port, encryption set to SSL, and using authentication with the correct email and password combination. With these setting I do not receive the successful submission message and no email. My browser just keeps trying to connect to something and eventually fails. I have used other SMPT plugins to test the connection and I have received the test emails so I know there is nothing wrong with my host or email service. Any suggestions?

  • Okay so I narrowed it down. I finally got the emails sending and everything works great but only if the emails entered on the form are not from gmail or other big email providers. I have read that DreamHost blocks those big email providers to cut down on traffic. Is this true? And if so does anyone know a fix?
