Support » Plugin: GDPR » Not prompting non-logged-in users to re-consent to Privacy Policy change

  • I was doing a test earlier and discovered that when I update the Privacy Policy and click “Ask for consent again,” visitors who are not logged-in users (which means everyone except me) are not immediately being prompted to review and accept the changes. I think this might be a caching issue (I use WP Super Cache in preload/supercache mode) — is there a way around that?

    Thanks!

I have the same issue with wprocket plugin. It doesn’t show up for logged out users

Ok. I fixed it for wprocket plugin:

go to advanced tab / Always purge (URLs):

    /wp-content/plugins/gdpr/(.*)

@royrogers — That’s good to know (I might have to abandon WP Super Cache if I can’t solve this issue), although it doesn’t resolve my issue, since I’m not using wprocket.

    UPDATE: @ate-up-with-motor

Purge URL is not enough. You should also never cache gdpr Cookie.

    On wprocket advanced tab:

    Never cache (cookies): gdpr
