without a link to your page we can only imagine that you need to provide more time before printing for the pdf to load. Try increasing the pause before print value in the plugin settings.

It doesnt appear that the pdf is loading after selecting print.
http://www.evansresidentialdeisgns.com general information page design process. I dont know if the target is set up correctly. here is the code on the page [print-me target=”div#id_of_element_to_print” title=”Print Page”]

    OK. Few things.
First, just to verify that this is, in fact, the page you are refering to.

Second, edit your page in Text (not Visual) mode, as it seems some text formatting has been copy-pasted in Visual Mode.

Finally, it seems the target (the PDF) is wrapped in a div with a CLASS of pdfemb-viewer, therefore you need to use this as the target like so:

    [print-me target=".pdfemb-viewer" title="Print Page"/]

Note: if you are going to copy/paste the above code, please do so while in TEXT mode.

Let us know how it goes!

Ok i added the code in text mode. When I select print a separate window opens and a print dialog box opens but the pdf never opens. That is the page i was referring to.

fine. now to help troubleshoot the issue, please prevent the print page from closing when the print-dialog box is closed. this is set under the plugin settings: Dashboard > Settings > Print-O-Matic

Also, since you only want to print the pdf, and no other page elements, why not simply create a link to open the pdf in a new window?

I am new at this so not sure how to set up a link open the pdf in a new window and print. I set the print page to stay open and still nothing. What should the target attribute set at? It is set to article.

How exactly are you inserting this pdf in your page?

I have a plug-in PDF Embedder, i insert as a featured image and the plug in embeds the pdf

here is the code for print me and the pdf

    [print-me target=”.pdfemb-viewer” title=”Print Form”/]

    [pdf-embedder url=”http://www.evansresidentialdesigns.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/Design-Flow-3.pdf” title=”Design Flow”]

looks like you don’t need this plugin, as your pdf viewer has the option to download/print built in. Issue marked as resolved (but we can’t mark it resolved in this new WordPress Forum)… if you can mark this topic as resolved, please do so.
