Hey,
This doesn’t have to do with this plugin, you need to talk with the author of your plugin to ask them to hook into woocommerce emails for new fields. This plugin styles emails and doesn’t determine what data is being sent to the emails. That is woocommerce core.
Many checkout field editor plugins (including ours in Kadence woo Extras) allow you to choose if you want the extra fields to show in woocommerce emails. I suggest asking the author of the plugin you are using to add that option.
All the best.
Thanks for the quick reply.
The plugin that I used is from woocommerce themselves and I talked to them first :-).
The thing is that when I disabled Kadence the fields came back to emails.

Really… I don’t know how that would be unless that plugin is overriding templates instead of hooking into the emails like other checkout editor plugins.
Where are the fields showing up in emails?
Since that plugin isn’t open source I would need you to investigate what they are using to hook into emails to understand the issue.
Ben
I can send you the plugin it self to see.
Hey Ben!
Please send me an email here so I can send you the plugin
info@novelgroup.info
thanks
You can send to info@kadencewp.com I can take a look, I’m not sure there will be anything I can do if this plugin is doing something really bizarre like overriding a template instead of hooking into an action.
Ben
