Not picking up broken YouTube embeds

    Hi,

    First, thank you for your plugin, this particular client uses it all the time.

    He has a lot of YouTube embeds, and until recently, the tool has always picked up when videos become unavailable – for example, there is one two thirds down this page https://www.toppermost.co.uk/cliff-bennett-rebel-rousers/ (below the text “featured on the first album sleeve.”)

    I’ve checked his Settings and (Which Links to Check) and ‘Embedded YouTube videos’ is still checked.

    Any idea what’s going on here?

    Hello there @nathangdavidson

    We recently took over this plugin and our developers perform some code audits.

    I can see that there’s no broken YT video on your site now, but I tried to replicate it in a testing site of mine.

    I noticed that either a working or a non-working YT link was mentioned in the reports so I’m creating a task for our developers.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your email, yes I saw that announcement.

    My client advised me yesterday that he found a broken YT link, but he was quick to remove it manually as he was promoting the Post where he found it.

    Are you able to replicate the issue?

    If not, I can ask my client to advise me next time he finds a broken YT embed and I can forward you the link?
