Support » Plugin: Blackhole for Bad Bots » Not overly excited

I purchased the paid version but will uninstall today.

The plugin caught very few bots in months. Every bad actor that doesn’t hit the honeypot can still do whatever they want on your site.

Unless you – like me – have other security measures.

And if you do, the question is if you want to add to the overhead by installing a plugin that very rarely catches a bad actor on your site.

Thanks for the feedback, sorry it did not work out for you. Most users are blocking LOTS of bad bots, so not sure what’s happening in this case without further infos about the site, setup, traffic, and so forth. Every site is different, and thus is targeted differently by bad bots and other threats.

Also for the sake of anyone else reading, reviews and posts about pro/paid plugins are not allowed here at WordPress.org, which is for free versions of plugins only.
