Not noticing many difference…

    I’ve created a WorPress Mult-site on domain e.g. xyz.com. On domain e.g. abc.com I’ve installed a fresh WordPress installation. I’ve installed the plug-in on the Multi-site and added the domain abc.com to it. I can see under My Sites that both websites are now added. If I click on the site abc.com > New Message a new window opens to the website.

    Now this can be it right? I’ve heard that it’s also possible to see plug-ins, themes etc. I don’t see anything of that back. I don’t think I’ve done it right. My first time. I’ve added CNAME record xyz.com to abc.com. (Don’t have CPanel).

    Can you somebody help me going?

    Do both URL’s need to be on the same server?

    Yes, in the same WP install. If you have a new multisite install you do not need the domain mapping plugin. You can edit the URLs of your sub sites in network admin.
