Hi @valmusette28,
Thanks for choosing Neve!
The issue may occur due to a plugin conflict, so please install the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin, enable the troubleshooting mode which will deactivate all plugins and check if the issue persists. If the problem doesn’t occur anymore, it means it was indeed caused by a plugin conflict and you should reactivate the plugins one by one, until you find the culprit. Then, replace that plugin with an alternative one.
I hope this helps!
Have a nice day!
Hi @luciamarinescu
Thanks for your answer. It was difficult to find the origin of the problem because the deactivation of all the plugins, Elementor et Elemntor Pro included, has broken the layout of the website and make disappear the “A propos” in the header which is simply a link to an anchor in the home page and not a page.
Though when Elementor and Elementor Pro are shut down I can’t verify if the problem persist…..
But it seems that the problem come from a conflict with Elementor / Elementor Pro (I have deactivated all the other plug-ins).
And I can’t obviously replace Elementor with another equivalent plugin…
What can I do ?
I have already contacted Elementor support before coming here and they say it was probably a problem with the theme…
Thanks for all
Hi @valmusette28!
We checked your site and it looks like the issue appears indeed only when you click on “A propos” from another page and it redirects you to the page that contains “#apropos” at the end of the URL. It doesn’t occur if you click on the menu item “A propos” directly from the homepage, as the URL of the page doesn’t change. Unfortunately the issue doesn’t seem to be related to the theme, but to that custom section you added. You could make a staging site, switch to the Twenty Twenty or Twenty Twenty One theme and check if the issue persists. If it does, it means it is indeed not related to Neve. Let us know about your findings!
Have a nice day!

That’s what I’ve tried to explain you (but my English is so poor…).
I did what you preconize : I put the site in maintenance, switched to the twenty twenty theme and the problem doesn’t persist.
Though it seems to be related to Neve or … ?
Do you want a temporarly access to the admin of the site to continue looking for the origin of the problem ?
Thanks

Hello @valmusette28 ,
Thank you for your reply!
Can you please let us know how you achieved this effect? I have tried replicating the issue on a test instance and I couldn’t.
At first I thought it might be because you have used an entire URL for the anchor that somehow was redirecting you to a page without a header, however, I did my setup in the same way and I can scroll up to see the navigation without issues.
I have created a screencast here showing how I set up the anchor on my testing website. Can you please let me know if there is something I have missed in order to reproduce the issue?
Thank you and we’ll await your answer!
Hi @mateithemeisle
Thanks for your reply too ! I’ve tried with the Anchor Menu widget like in your screen video caption (I first used CSS ID of the section without this widget) but no way… It makes me crazy !!!!
anyway I’ve finally deleted this menu item A PROPOS…
Thanks for all
