Activated this because I wanted to support a good cause, but got complaints from mobile users who only saw half the popup and worse still couldn’t see the close button.

Hey thanks for the feedback. As stated in the plugin description, this plugin is simply an implementation of the javascript code given by the Internet Defense League on their site using the “all campaigns” code. https://www.internetdefenseleague.org/

All it’s here for is to allow you to use the Cat Signal code on your site without having to hack up your theme.

As such, there’s nothing in this plugin that is any different or adds/removes anything from their script — which was written by the IDF and which I have no direct affiliation with. They are aware that a mobile version needs to be built but, like all of WordPress, the code is maintained by volunteers. You can make your suggestion and follow the conversation on the official Cat Signal Google Group for the developers https://groups.google.com/forum/?fromgroups#!forum/internetdefenseleague.

Unfortunately, because I’m not responsible for the codebase that’s controlling the actual campaigns, there’s literally nothing I can do to help the mobile experience, even if I wanted to. You’re better off creating a ticket on the Github repository (https://github.com/fightforthefuture/idl-members/issues) or posting in the Google group as there’s nothing I can do to help.
