    Hello and good day.

Product quantity is not being grabbed and diplayed on eBay.

I have imported products from amazon but the quantity is shown as 0 when I preview the listing before publishing.

However, If I am creating my own products, I can enter the quantity and it displays as it should.

This is occurring for amazon products as well as products I am using with dropship plugin.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @rayeason.

    Thanks for contacting support today.

Are these listings that you imported from Amazon FBA listings? If yes, you need to perform 1 more step in order for the proper stock to show in WP-Lister/WC.

    Import products from Amazon

    Specifically:

Note: If you import FBA items your imported products and listings will show as out of stock until an FBA Inventory Report is processed. Visit the Reports page and click “Process Report” on the most recent FBA Amazon Fulfilled Inventory Report to do so after the import process is completed. See how FBA inventory is managed by WP-Lister for more details.

If that does not help, do you have the “Manage stock” setting enabled in WC, so you can provide an actual quantity in the WC products?

You can see the setting I am referring to at the bottom of this screenshot: https://snipboard.io/K7drLo.jpg

“Manage stock?” setting needs to be enabled for each variation and a stock level needs to be added for each variation. If it is not, stock updates cannot be made because technically there is no stock values for those variations in WC.

If this is in regard to simple listings, you need to make sure the “Manage stock” setting is enabled in the global WC settings as well, which will allow you to provide a stock level in the inventory tab of the product data section on the edit product page of WC.

It sounds like this is not the issue as you said with new products you can input a stock amount, but just wanted to be sure.

    Kind regards,
    John

Some of the products are from Amazon FBA Listings. Some are from a dropshipping plugin that I use as well. No products are showing quantity in WooCommerce so quantity is not being pushed to ebay.

How do I generate this report? Is it in WP-Lister Lite for eBay?

If that does not help, do you have the “Manage stock” setting enabled in WC, so you can provide an actual quantity in the WC products?

If I choose Manage Stock, I have to enter a quantity. This will not keep the stock in sync quantity-wise as my sales ad the actual sales on amazon (for this product through another vendor) will not be accurate.

And no, I am not using variations.

    Hi @rayeason

To process the report you should first make sure you have the “Enable FBA” setting enabled in WP-Lister’s general settings page.

Secondly, browse to the “Reports” page of WP-Lister, scroll to the bottom, click “Request Report” select the “FBA Amazon Fulfilled Inventory Report” and click “Submit request” – note this report will run on it’s own daily once the FBA setting mentioned above is enabled.

If I choose Manage Stock, I have to enter a quantity. This will not keep the stock in sync quantity-wise as my sales ad the actual sales on amazon (for this product through another vendor) will not be accurate.

This sounds like the problem. You must provide an actual stock level in Woocommerce, that is where WP-Lister pulls the stock from. Whatever system you are using to connect with this vendor you speak of, the stock needs to be added to WC. WP-Lister is designed to integrate with Woocommerce, so the proper stock levels need to exist in WC.

You must provide an actual stock value to Amazon/eBay, they require it, you cannot have unlimited stock. The only stock options out of the box are:

1.) Provide a quantity in the quantity field of the edit product page in Woocommerce. This quantity value will be sent to Amazon/eBay when listing items to Amazon/eBay through WP-Lister.

2.) Or for Amazon you can enable the “Profile editor mode” setting on the “Advanced” Settings page. With that setting enabled a “Quantity” field will be added to the listing profile where you can specify a value like “100”. Then any product assigned to that listing profile would use “100” as the quantity when listed to Amazon.

For eBay, you can use the “Custom quantity options” in the listing profile to provide custom stock levels for your eBay listings.

    Kind regards,
    John

There is no Enable FBA under general settings.

WP Lister is pulling products from Amazon. Should it not pull the inventory? Or do I have to specify inventory which may or may not be the actual quantity that amazon has?

    Hi @rayeason

Here is a screenshot where you can see the “Enable FBA” setting in the general settings page: https://snipboard.io/09eB3b.jpg

When you import from Amazon using the inventory report method (which is the only way to pull in stock – Import products from Amazon – the ASIN Import method will not work), WP-Lister requests a merchant listings report from Amazon. And sometimes Amazon does not include details like stock or descriptions in that merchant listings report. WP-Lister is only able to import/work with the data that is provided by Amazon. So if you do see some data missing after importing, then you should first check the merchant listings report on the “Reports” page of WP-Lister and examine what exists in the report. Do you see stock in the report but not in WC? If so, please open a support ticket with our support team and include a link to this forum thread.

Otherwise, you’d need to ask Amazon seller support why your stock levels are not included in the report, and if they can fix that, run another import in WP-Lister again.

That is in regard to FBM listings.

For FBA listings you would need to run that FBA inventory report I mentioned, but first you would need to enable FBA in WP-Lister then process an FBA inventory report as explained previously in this thread.

    Kind regards,
    John
