Hi @freshlabs,
Thanks for your feedback.
You can disable our CSS under settings; Disable Document CSS. Now your theme will take over, you can continue from there like any other post or page. This works for all our documents.
For example: https://demo.complianz.io/privacy-statement-eu/ or https://demo.complianz.io/cookie-policy-eu/
Regarding Cookiedatabase.org; this replaced our former cookie database which we abandoned for a new approach. Cookiedatabase.org, also initiated by Complianz contains more data, maintained by specialized moderators and is available for anyone to contribute to.
I hope this clarifies some of your issues with our plugin.
regards Aert

In addition to what Aert said, the cookiedatabase.org cookie descriptions are optional. We introduced cookiedatabase.org because this way we can offer better and more frequently updated cookie descriptions, retention, services and purposes. But you can also choose not to use it, and enter your own.
What would be really helpful: is there something we can improve on in the cookiedatabase.org integration?

@freshlabs Thanks for the review but please keep it to your words here only. No links or links to images. That’s not permitted in reviews and I have removed yours. This includes links to cookie policy on the author’s site.
Hello Jan,
I didn’t know that as well. Have been asked for screenshots by devs before while the current project was still in progress and haven’t been published to that day. Is there another way to share them? I guess links to dropbox, etc. aren’t allowed, too?
@freshlabs: Did you try using CSS to change the layout?
Thanks for your help, highly appreciated! Best regards,
