# Not getting notification emails…

 * Hello there,
 * I’m new to WordPress. I’ve got a problem with not receiving emails from WordPress(
   Notification emails, and Contact Form messages)
 * Please help. I’ve tried using a plugin called ‘check email’ but that throws up
   a ‘500 Internal Server Error’. I also tried the ‘WP Mail SMPT’ plugin but I can’t
   even send a test email successfully with that.
 * I’ve also called my hosting provider (Godaddy on plesk). They said they could
   see no problems, though trying to run WordPress on a Windows server is bound 
   to be problematic. Not sure what they’re talking about there?
