not getting a wp-admin folder?

When I download the zip, from the front page of wordpress.org
and I extract the file, I don’t get a wp-admin folder, wp-content,
wp-includes, or wp-images. I just get a lot of files not placed
in folders. What’s the deal? Can I move all these into folders?
How do I know which files to put in what foldeR?

can someone send me a d/l link to a zip file that has all the
proper folders. This is getting frustrating.
