# Not functioning

 * I have pretty permalinks enabled, but that does not seem to be effecting the 
   media file.
 * File was uploaded as media.

 * I have tried it two ways. Link leads to an error page. see above for notes.

 * Sorry that you’re having issues.
 * I notice that the first link at the URL you provided incorporates the attachment
   page and not the direct file URL, which would definitely cause the switch-er-
   oo with the download script to fail. Try using the direct file URL.
 * **Also, the second link you provided works exactly as expected**, so I’m unsure
   what you mean when you say that both links lead you to an error page. Clicking
   the link initiates the download for me.
 * Please let me know if I can answer any other questions for you.
