• Free? Even the simplest way to translate i.e., redirecting you to Google translation services, are a paid service.
WordPress should pay more attention to uncertain claims in the matter of FREE, when free does mean NOTHING.

    Hi,

We never advertise that our plugin should work in the way you described.
The simplest translation is the manual one and is free. This is what our plugin offers in the first place. If you want your content to be automatically translated, well, this requires extra fees which is normal (being an extra service), since it is one thing to translate the content of one page, and another to translate the content of 100 pages.

I took the liberty of looking over your review history. You seem to be set on the idea that plugins don’t offer enough features in the free versions.
Each plugin’s developer is free to build their main/free version of the product as they see fit. What is not appropriate in return, is to promote the product as doing something when it does not. As I mentioned above, TranslatePress did not advertise that machine translation would be free. Therefore your review does not reflect the reality of our plugin. Giving a small grade should normally be reserved for plugins with no support, unresolved bugs, or not following WordPress standards. This is not the case for TranslatePress.

We would appreciate it if you would reconsider your opinion. After all, 200k+ active installations and the people who use our products wouldn’t be here if we had fooled them, so they must have other reasons for supporting us.
