Support » Plugin: WooCommerce » Not for the average person

  • I would like to think I’m pretty savvy when it comes to technology and programs. But woocommerce is so confusing I’m thinking of just paying money and going the shopify route.
There is next to no support on the actual woocommerce site you can lodge a support ticket, but won’t get an answer. Or if you do it’s jargon or just directs you to documentation that does not answer your question.
I suppose it’s free which is good but to get any functionality you need to buy expensive plugins, which is bad if you are a start up with no capital.
I’ll give this a few more days and hope I get some sort of support from wordpress. It should take me weeks to set up all my products which is done in minutes with shopify. If you don’t like to spend hours working out how to get a simple drop-down menu or swatch for colour variations save yourself a headache and just go pay a monthly fee for Shopify with superior support and themes.
