    Ok after all the bad reviews I had to try it myself to see is this rage about this plugin justified or not..

    I usually don’t do content on sites, I’m developer so my job is to code theme, make one sample page and any shortcodes needed and handle it to clients..

    I tried to add post.. Pasted text and there is no was to add image inside text ? Is this for real ? Ok never mind I tried to add image after text and if I click add image block you got text saying “Drag an image, upload a new one or select a file from your library.”, but I only have upload button, it does not give me ability to open media library at all to see already uploaded images.. Theme is clean fork of _s theme with some CSS changes so I don’t see why it should not work out of the box.. 20+ plugins work flawless with same setup so I can’t see what could be wrong with media upload…

    Ok let try something simpler, in middle on my text I decided one sentence should become H2 title, and I pressed enter and it moved that sentence to another block of it own which I found weird and distracting seeing so many blocks…And searched like madman where to select this.. Then I realised I need to create yet another block of type heading and then copy paste my text there.

    Really ?? It’s like one click in old editor.. I don’t see point in making things more demanding and harder to use..

    This editor might have some future but you need to reconsider lot of UI problems.. I advise you to check Elementor page builder, super easy workflow, super easy elements adding, see and compare to your..

    @turbocro thanks for taking time to leave a review and feedback. Just a little insight into images in text, there is an ‘inline image’ block, perhaps that could help you achieve what you are looking to do? Beyond that not having ability to view images in your media library seems like a little bug. Would you be able to report that here: https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/issues/new/choose? If you are unable to and can tell me a little more about your theme and plugins using, I can for you.

    I absolutely agree that Elementor is a great system, I say that as it’s incredibly comprehensive and really does a lot. It’s worth noting version one of Gutenberg is focused on the editor, the next phase will be on Customization and see more page building functionality.

    @karmatosed I have tried to install it again to record the whole image adding process bug but now it’s working as it should
    🙂

    I have used the the add image again to add text in middle of content and problem there is if I use inline image block it does not give me ability to flow text around image, and if I use the regular image block it create another block, so another paragraph, there is no way to add image inside block of text without creating another paragraph ?
