Not finding Store (4 posts)

We've got just over 40 locations on our store finder within East Australia and it's working great (even better with the premium packages)... but one of our stores can't be found if you search for just the store name. Each other one works fine.

Eg, when you search "Pacific Fair" no results are found and the map zooms into the USA. If you search for "Pacific Fair,Australia" it shows up.

Any suggestions what I can do to fix it? Most of our web visitors will only search qith store names.

Search how? By name? Or are you putting that in address?

Yes, if the user searches the store name "Pacific Fair" in the address bar it jumps to an empty place in the USA.

I've tried using the Name bar too and that returns nothing.

Address searches appear to work for all our other locations though... very odd.

Did you read "how search works"? If Google cannot find an ADDRESS match for Pacific Fair it will fail. Given the myriad of city, town, and street names it is likely MOST store names will come back with something (though typically incorrect). However you should only be using the "search by store name" option if you want to search by store names.

Forum support is moving. At some point in the not-so-distant future I will only be answering posts here:
