    Hello,

We have the exact same problem,… at least I think so.
This is the error message we get when running a job manually:

The HTTP response test get an error “SSL connect error”Not expected HTTP response body:

Scheduled jobs are also not running, but this may be a problem with WP-Cron.

    List of used plugins:
    Antispam Bee
    BackWPup
    Cookie Notice
    Envato WordPress Toolkit
    Events Manager
    Google Analytics by Yoast
    Gravity Forms
    Gravity Forms MailChimp Add-On
    Menu Management Enhancer
    WP-Mail-SMTP
    WP-Members
WPBakery Visual Composer (Artbees Modified Version)
    WPML Multilingual CMS
    Yoast SEO

    Thanks very much in advance!

No luck – still the same error message:

The HTTP response test get an error “SSL connect error”Not expected HTTP response body:

I have same issue with multisite. Entire site behind cloudflare SSL

I used that plugin in zip and the message changes to:

Not expected HTTP response body: Error body { width: 35em; margin: 0 auto; font-family: Tahoma, Verdana, Arial, sans-serif; } An error occurred. Sorry, the page you are looking for is currently unavailable. Please try again later. If you are the system administrator of this resource then you should check the error log for details. Faithfully yours, nginx.

There are problems with cloudflare i know but in moment i have no solution for this.

    Edit your wp-config.php

    Paste this define(‘ALTERNATE_WP_CRON’, true );

    Same issue.

    We use cloudflare.

Indeed it does work, Thanks. The problem seems to have started when I started using Cloudflare. BackWPup is now working again. 🙂

For those who may not know how: Just add “define(‘ALTERNATE_WP_CRON’, true );” (without the quotes (“)) on any blank line in your sites wp-config.php file. If there is not a blank line, add one at the top or bottom of the file, save the changes and re-upload the file to your server.
