Not entering after username and password

We have a problem in our website. Right after you enter an username and password, the user is redirected again to the form to enter the username and password, but not inside the website…The user is actually logged in, if they delete the part of the URL they can access the site, but of course we cannot ask clients to do that. Is there any solution for this? Thank you very much.
