Hello,
I don’t uderstand what i have to do.
I just want to look the page view report on some individual page in wordpress. it’s a GA4 or a Sitekit problem ?
Thank you
Hi @djovanov,
At this stage I suspect it’s an issue with sampled data, which is not specifically a Site Kit issue. If your site has significant traffic and data, your data may be sampled, meaning some URLs may not have all the data you are you looking for. We’re still investigating this unfortunately.
With the Analytics API, which Site Kit uses, I suspect what’s happening is that some URLs expose only sampled data.
To try and determine more on this, can you perform a check using the GA4 query explorer? Here’s a screenshot with notes on what to check. It’s possible that after performing a check, there may be a sample data flag or mention.
Hi @jamesosborne ,
I performed the check you suggest me and the result is 171K in the Sitekit dashboard and 170823 in the GA4 query explorer.
Thank you
Appreciate you sharing this @djovanov. The next check is to see if you are able to view data for specific pages, by adding the pagePath dimension, as per this screenshot. As your data may be sampled, please let me know if you see any mention of this, or let me know if the figures seem accurate to what you see from analytics.google.com for any of the pages where Site Kit is not displaying metrics.
Let me know if you have any questions with the above. This check will help determine if you’re impacted by data sampling on specific URLs. We can perform some similar checks on specific pages from analytics.google.com if preferred, as Site Kit pulls data directly from Analytics to display within the plugin dashboard.
Note also that what may be useful for me to share with the team while we’re investigating this, is to share the following (as per this screenshot)
- Open a Chrome browser incognito window
- Search for and open a specific URL within Site Kit
- Ensure there is no data for this URL, while there is for others
- Click on the Source: Analytics link for this specific page and share a screenshot or recording of what you see.
Let me know how you get on with the above, and appreciate you sharing all these insights so far. I’ll update the associated GitHub issue with your findings.
@jamesosborne , if i add a pagePath of a url that Site Kit not display graph data, i see the same result. For example in site kit, the metric all users i have 432 and same value in GA4 Query Explorer
It seem i alraedy sended you this data (incognito mode and clic on the source Analytics link). Can you confirm me ?
Thank you
Thanks for checking @djovanov. Just to confirm. It sounds like Site Kit is pulling in the correct “All users” data in that case. Before I check this further, in order to determine why you’re seeing a “Not enough traffic” yet notice, with other metrics not visible, can you share a screenshot of what you see specifically for that same URL when clicking on the “Source: Analytics” link?
You can share this privately using the same form previously used if preferred. This information may help in assisting with possible sample data impacting the traffic source chart.

I can see you did create a recording of this previously. Thank you.
I’ve added a summary of this behavior for individual pages to the related GitHub issue and escalated it. I’ll keep you updated here as soon as I have an update. Note also that because you’re not able to view full data from analytics.google.com, this is likely the cause of the “No data available” within Site Kit. I can see this same messaging appears from the recording you kindly shared (appearing in French from analytics.google.com)
Ok @jamesosborne thank you
Thanks for your patience on this @djovanov. We discussed your case once more and before we can determine any plugin fault we’ll need to determine any issues with the data as it appears within Analytics. As you’re only seeing the “All users” metric populating with data in the top of your Site Kit dashboard, can you share whether you see any Analytics data for the “Top Content” section? If not, please check do you see any such top content when clicking on the “Source: Analytics” link.
Another check which you may wish to perform is to see does the same occur if you disconnect the Analytics module within Site Kit and then connect once more. When connecting, select the option for Site Kit to insert your Google Analytics snippet. At present your Analytics is firing from your Tag Manager account, so it’s possible you may be impacted by a particular Analytics implementation.
Thank you @jamesosborne
I can confirm i see Analytics data from Top content section dashboard. The daily graph problem on individual page occur only on pages with low trafic , it seem when Data Threshold applied.
I can’t disable Tag manager insertion beacause i use events to tracks some actions on the website.
Maybe it’s related to GA4 Reporting identity ?
I tried with “device id” setting, and data is populated where page has low traffic
I enabled Google Signal ins GA4, maybe i dont have to use it ? Or the User ID is missing …
Note: it’s working also if i disable the “Include Google signals in reporting identity” option and keep “Blended” data
Many thanks for sharing these additional insights. I’ve added these to the related GitHub issue which we’re currently investigating.

Thanks for sharing this additional information. Unfortunately I’m not an expert when it comes to advanced Analytics configured with Google signals. I have now enabled Google signals for a test site and I’ll use this to try and determine more, however, I can’t guarantee I will encounter the same. Your site seems to have significant traffic, even before adding Google signals. It’s therefore more likely that your site would be impacted by any sampling thresholds, while making it hard to determine more on a test site without traffic.
What does seem to be the case for impacted pages on your site, is that data in Analytics, and not specifically Site Kit, is not fully available. See this screenshot from your recording where it states the same from analytics.google.com.
Note: it’s working also if i disable the “Include Google signals in reporting identity” option and keep “Blended” data
Nice find! When you mention “it’s working” can you confirm that you are seeing full data for specific pages within Analytics, or also within Site Kit, for the previously impacted pages?
