    Hi @stevemecher

Sorry to hear you are having this issue.

1- First Thing The Plugin Is Too Slow For Checking broken Link

Can you verify the timeframe that it is set in WordPress > Settings > Link Checker?

By default, it is 72 hours if your site has a big database you can increase this time to make sure the plugin won’t start a new process before the running finishes.

You can also verify the timeout and load settings in the advanced tools.

2 – Second Thing The Plugin Hi’s Not scaned The Script.

I am afraid the plugin can’t process scripts and shortcodes, the scripts most of the time load in the DOM and those are not stored in the database.

We do have plans to improve the plugin for links as you shared but we can’t give an estimated time.

    Best Regards

    Hi @stevemecher

It should be fine, you can also check your WordPress memory limit https://wpmudev.com/blog/increase-memory-limit to make sure everything will run as expected.
