Not Edit Link for Shop Page

    This is because its not a real ‘page’. it’s a custom post type archive, so the edit link will not be visible.

    Dear Mike,

    Thank you for your kind response.

    This was introduced with the new version of woocommerce; Because I noticed the “Edit Page” was in the previous version.
    Your reason why the “Edit Page” is not visible is quite perfect and it is preferable too

    It may have been visible due to some ‘hacks’ we used prior, but these are gone now. Its an archive.
