  • Hi,

If you mean – using product info shortcodes outside of product info feature – e.g. using shortcodes in text widget, this is not possible at the moment, but will be implemented in our next update.

Please let me know if I misunderstood what you meant…

    Best regards,
    Tom

Well I was trying to use it on product pages in description. But now I’m not sure how and where it is meant to be used – am I doing it wrong?

    Thanks for replying.

At first the idea was that these shortcodes can be used in “product info” only, that is you need to use them in “WooCommerce > Settings > PRODUCTS > Product Info”, and they will automatically be added to each product (you can set what to display on archive and on single product page).
However as I mentioned – we are going to make those shortcodes available anywhere, that is in product description as well. I will let you know as soon as update is ready.

    Best regards,
    Tom

I’m sorry I haven’t replied yet. Thanks for explanation. I indeed tried using it the way it’s not supported yet, but of course it works just like you said.

Looking forward to the new update! Keep up the good work.

    Hi,

The update is almost ready – last preparations before release.
All Product Info Shortcodes now can be used anywhere on your site, like ordinary shortcodes. I will let you know as soon as update and documentation are ready.

    Best regards,
    Tom

    Hi,

    We’ve finally released the update.
Now you can use all product info shortcodes on any WordPress page.
E.g. to display product’s price, you should use something like this:
    [wcj_price before=”Price is: “]
Full list of shortcodes is here – http://woojetpack.com/features/product-info/
Please let me know if anything won’t work as expected.

    Best regards,
    Tom
