    Hi there, me again.

I ‘ve crawled all the support topics and documentation but didn’t find my question covered, so here it is:

is there any way to hide the post date in the search results with SEOPress?

I found your guide on how to display it
    https://www.seopress.org/support/guides/display-date-search-results/
but even though in none of my settings the “Display date in Google search results” is checked it still shown, of course.

Wonder if it can be hidden.
I tried other SEO plugins for that, it worked but generated a bunch of errors in my sitemap. So I hope it can be done within your plugin.

    Thank you in advance,
    sincerely,
    Ana

    Hi,

please share the URL of your page.

There is probably a datetime in your source code and Google took it.

    Sorry for the delay.

I checked the source code of a post and I found the post date in HTML with a time tag.

You can’t see it because it’s hidden with CSS but it’s visible in the source code and Google uses it.

That’s why you see the post date in search results.

    <span class="posted-on">Updated on <time datetime="2019-11-22">November 22nd, 2019</time></span> </div>
