I have a few links for example a pdf file which was detected by another link checker plugin but not yours.

In fact it says 24 400 errors but it’s likely 49.

Hi Ramanan, thanks for your message,

can you provide more information? the website address, an example of posts, what links are not detected, what options in the scan are you configured, etc.

Keep in mind also that this plugin only checks content directly from database and does not consider filters from code execution, as described in this post:

    Kind regards,

    Hi Pau,

Sorry haven’t been keeping notes and doing it systematically. Once I am done fixing 404s and then if I find broken links, I will notify you.

For now, a reverse issue. There shouldn’t be an error here on this page on my site but still showing as 404 in the ‘Scans’ page.

One feature request: some kind of “fixed” marker in the Scans page.

Hi Ramanan, the page that you refer has a 404 link, if you view the HTML source code, inside the post there is a link to this facebook page responding a 404 error code:

    https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=843141722409196&id=262195523837155&substory_index=0

Otherwise, thanks for your suggestion about markers in search results, I’ll keep in mind for future versions.

    Kind regards,
    Pau

I can’t reproduce here the exact URL, it is an issue about how is encoded the URL in the post using & instead & notation, I will check this exception in next version.

    Thanks,
    Pau
