Hi,
You can enable or disable the event details popup for each calendar. Isn’t that what you are looking for? In that case you only see the event but you won’t see the popup with details when you click on it.

Hello Michiel
Thank you very much for your quick reply.
You mean in Google calendar setting the event to “private”? Or are there any settings in the component that we are overlooking?
We have made 3 Screenshots (See link). There you will see our settings:
1. We set the event in Google Calendar to private
2. The event details are nevertheless showing on the frontend
3. In the component we activated “show private events”. If we disable this checkbox the event is not showing at all

Do you have any further hints for us?
Thanks a lot and best regards.

Hi Miryam,
In the first screenshot I can see the popup that appears after clicking on an event. This popup can be disabled so that no event details are displayed at all. It seems that this is what you are looking for.
See for more details:

Hello Michiel
Thanks a lot for the link to the Plugin-Blog.
Ok we could try to hide the pop-up but the title of the event will be still shown – correct? If it so, the customers team that works with the calendar can not set the title, for example “Wedding of Mr. + Mrs. X” but needs to find a workaround for the title – this unfortunately is not really practicable because the Names of Persons or Companies should not appear in the frontend.
In Google calendar we have the additional option to say that an event is completely private and the persons that have access to this calendar will only see that at this time this person is occupied. He will not see any details and also not the title even if the calendar is shared.
Is this option not applied also to your Plugin? We tried to make the event completely private, but is still shown in the frontend.
Sorry for bothering you again with this, but I hope that we will find a good solution. 😉
Thanks again and regards.

Hi Michiel
Did you had a chance to have a look at our Calendar Problem?
Would be great if we could solve this because we need to go Live soon with our page.
Thanks again for your patient and best regards.
Miryam
Hi,
So if I’m correct you want to be able to set some predefined text, for example “Occupied”, that will then be displayed for all private events instead of the real titel that has been set in Google Calendar?
BW
Hello,
Yes exactly like this. 1:1 the same behavior we have in Google Calendar if an Event is set as “private”.
Happy reading from you soon.

Miryam
Okay,
This looks like a useful addition to the plugin. I’l look into this when I have time. Hopefully this weekend but I cannot promise anything.

Hi Michiel
Oh, this would be sooo great if you would find any time to add this to your plugin.
Happy reading from you soon.

Hi,
A new version has been released (20220910) where you can set the “Private events title” in the settings section of this plugin. This will display this title for all private events.
Hopefully this will solve your issue.

Michiel
Hi Michiel
Cool, it seems to work so for us. This is a smart solution.
Thanks for your effort and best regards.
Miryam
Hello Michiel
We tested it also in our team, and all are happy with this solutions.
Great, thanks again and best regards.
