Support » Plugin: Fonts Plugin | Google Fonts Typography » Not compatible with rankmath SEO

In gutenberg, “google font block” is excluded from rankmath SEO calculations. Why is that? rankmath is an SEO plugin as popular as yoast.

Is the current plugin version not compatible with rankmath? Or is there another problem? How do I make it compatible with rankmath seo measurements?

  • <!– wp:paragraph {“className”:”has-medium-font-size”} –>

….

    <!– /wp:paragraph –>

    <!– wp:olympus-google-fonts/google-fonts {“fontID”:”Noto+Sans+KR”,”fontSize”:27,”content”:”text”} /–>

Unlike other blocks, the content is not in

With this structure, it seems that other SEO tools such as yoast seo will not work with google fonts typography.

    Is yoast seo supported?

I purchase and use it for a team plan, I hope this problem can be resolved soon!
This is because not only me, but also many people think SEO optimization is important.

    Hi @sinho0689,

I will reach out to the RankMath and Yoast teams to see if we can improve the compatibility and report back here.

    update:

We’ve heard back from Yoast, they don’t have any plans to add support for dynamic blocks (which this plugin uses).

    https://github.com/Yoast/wordpress-seo/issues/13235

    Thanks! @dannycooper

It was the first time I knew that “google font block” is a dynamic block. We look forward to news of RankMath.

If the SEO plugin does not support it, is it impossible to develop supporting by your team?
