Is your generatepress theme folder modified?
To check – Login via FTP and check what is the folder name of the generatepress theme it should be generatepress if this is something different than this then WordPress names it’s slug different than as expected hence this will not work.

I have my header working, then in the BB Header Footer Setting I “enable sticky header” and “Shrink the header when fixed”, but the header doesn’t behave as expected, as it stays sticked in a transparent form. I have since, unchecked the Enable Sticky Header check mark (in fact all three checkboxes are unchecked), but the header stills behave as a transparent, fixed header.

Since I reported this, the link I sent works correct, however:

have the behavior described.

On all the three pages the sticky headers are disabled so I am not exactly sure what is not working.
Also, If you send a screenshot of the exact problem it will be helpful to check what is broken
