Not Compatible with Dokan?

    Hi, I recently contacted Dokan Plug-In Authors regarding an issue with Stripe Connect Payment processing. After some troubleshooting, Dokan support determined that the issue was that there was a conflict between the GiveWP Plugin and Dokan’s payment processing via Stripe Connect. Dokan authors recommended I contact GiveWP.

    I would love to keep GiveWP and be able to process Stripe Connect transactions via Dokan. Would this be possible? Dokan uses WooCommerce so maybe that is where the conflict is occurring.

    Glad you reached out.

    Recently, we discovered that there is something between GiveWP and Dokan that indeed prevents Stripe from working properly. We’ve reported it to the development team to investigate it. I’ve added you as a voter for this issue here https://feedback.givewp.com/bug-reports/p/dokan-stripe-module-should-work-with-givewp-stripe-functionality, so the development team knows that more people are facing the same issue.

    Our feedback site is designed to be the single source for all updates on particular issues. If any movement has happened, it will be displayed there for both the public and our team internally.

    Hi Matheus,
    Thanks for getting back. Will I be getting an email if the issue goes to –> Under Review, etc., or if it becomes resolved?

    Also, does GiveWP resolve most of these topics, and if so, how long does it often take? I’m asking because I would like to know if need to find another donation plug-in, or if I can keep waiting on this one to resolve the conflict.

    If you create an account and vote for it, then you’ll get update emails, for sure.

    Regarding fixing this error, we do not have a firm timeline for that. It really depends on how many people are affected by it. We try to consider every feedback important, but we need to see how many people are willing for a feature or for a bug fix.
