    Hi,

I have used your shortcode on several websites with no problem – it’s excellent, However the website I am currently building uses the AVADA theme.

When I use a shortcode such as [post-content id=2] it does not show any of the content from post 1d2 that I created using the Fusion page builder.

Can you offer any help as to how I can show content built using the Fusion page builder please?

    Regards,
    Roger

    Hi,
I’ve not used that theme builder before and since its a paid theme, I don’t have access the the source code for debugging. I’ll help out where I can. I just need a little more information.

    • What version of Avada are you using?
    • Is post 2 published?
    • What is the content for post 2?
    • Do you get any output from using [post-content id=2] or is it blank?

    Hi Eric,

    Thanks for your reply.

    – I am using Avada version 4.0
    – Post 2 is published.
    – Content for post 2 is made a mixture of images, text, sliders, google maps etc made up using the Avada fushion page builder.
    – The output using the shortcode is blank.

NB: If I create another page using the normal WordPress text editor the shortcode works fine and show up all content.

    Regards,
    Roger

Just to clarify, is the content for post 2 edited from the normal posts edit screen or is it handled by an Avada admin page?

Since it is edited from an Avada screen, there could be any number of ways the content could be stored or manipulated.

Is there any way you can share the theme code?
Do you have a staging site where I can get an admin user account?

Please do not post any private info in this thread.
Please use email for that. eric@webdeveric.com

    Hi Eric,

I have sent you an email with a link to dropbox containing the theme code.

    Hi Eric,

Thank you for taking a look in our websites ‘back-end’ and discovering the issue was a conflict with a similar plugin I was testing. Having deactivated the offending plugin your shortcode now works perfectly.

Once again many thanks for taking the trouble to sort this out for me.

    Regards,
    Roger
