Support » Plugin: GTM4WP - A Google Tag Manager (GTM) plugin for WordPress » Not capturing Conversions?

  • Good day.

I’ve implemented GTM for Enhanced Ecommerce as per your instructions.

I can see that tags are firing.

Within GA > Behaviour > Events > Event Action, I see results for:
    gtm4wp.productImpressionEEC, gtm4wp.productClickEEC, gtm4wp.addProductToCartEEC, gtm4wp.removeFromCartEEC

I don’t see any data for “Purchase” or “success” actions, even though there have been successful sales.

    In GA > Conversions > E-commerce I can see
    – session numbers for “Shopping Behaviour” but 0 for “Sessions with Transactions”
    – “in Checkout Behaviour”, there’s data for ‘Add to Cart’, ‘Started Checkout’, and then 0 data for the next steps

It doesn’t seem like any sales data is captured after ‘Started Checkout’.

As GA is not capturing conversions, there’s no data being sent to Google Ads for conversions.

I’m not sure what else to do? I’d hire an expert but I don’t know what I’d be looking for?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,

If you setup your tracking based on the official setup article of GTM4WP, you will not see events for purchase actions since this data is transmitted via the GA pageview tag firing on your order received page.

I checked your site and currently I do not see that GTM4WP is active.
Are you sure you posted this to the right forum? Or you just switched to another plugin since your post?
