Support » Plugin: Login LockDown » Not blocking after maximum attempts

  • We have just installed the plugin and set the maximum retries to 3, retry period to 2 and lockout length to 30.

    Despite entering more than 3 incorrect attempts within 2 minutes no lockout occurred.

    Are we missing anything?

    @kevinseerup – sorry, I don’t know why I didn’t see the original notification for this post. Question: do you have the plugin set to lock out invalid usernames? And are you using a valid username when you are trying to lock yourself out?

    WordPress database error: [Table ‘helical_insight.wp_lockdowns’ doesn’t exist]
    SELECT lockdown_ID, floor((UNIX_TIMESTAMP(release_date)-UNIX_TIMESTAMP(now()))/60) AS minutes_left, lockdown_IP FROM wp_lockdowns WHERE release_date > now()

    Am getting the above error after activating the plugin. Please help me.
