Hi @raboodesign, I’m sorry you’re not satisfied. However, it will indeed back up all files. I’m not sure why you think otherwise? You can exclude those files, but by default all files will be included.
Hi Brandon,
I don’t remember the words exactly as I de-installed the plugin but the description on the settings page it said something like: backs up wp-content, wp-includes and wp-admin. Core files are not needed as you can get them from a fresh install.
If I’m mistaken, let me know and I try again.
Hi @raboodesign, looking at a recent backup, I see all WordPress files included. You may include or exclude files and directories as you desire. It’d be great if you could try it out again. 🙂
@raboodesign did you try it out again, since backup all files is surely possible. We would really appreciate if you could adjust your rating if you tried it out and see that it’s working with backing up all files.
We would really appreciate that!
Although it looks very complete, unfortunately it doesn’t work for me.
I spent over an hour to get this to work. I tried to do you a favor by looking into your plugin again, but my time is limited, so I moved to another solution that works within 15 minutes. I understand that your’s has more options and is therefore more complex to set up, but as I can’t confirm it works, I can’t change my rating, sorry.
@raboodesign Absolutely understandable. And thanks for your feedback! Normally it only takes a few minutes. But we understand you are going with another solution, if that’s helpful for you. I’m sure, if we, not you, have more time and have a deeper look into this. Then we could solve this in no time. 🙂
Whenever you think you might want to get this plugin running because it has more option and you want to have a more advanced backup plugin, then please don’t hesitate to contact us and we get it going.
Have a great day!
