    Hello,

I would like to ask you for help. Recently I purchased RSS Autopilot Plugin and after couple imported posts with images I realised that those images are not being optimised automatically. I started investigating what is going on. I have also disabled all the plugins but EWWW didn’t start optimising images anyway. I have also removed EWWW plugin from my site and database but no luck after installing back 🙁

Every time I enable EWWW plugin the admin-ajax.php load time increase dramatically.. Please see this screenshot from NewRelic here

For posterity, the main problem here was that a whole bunch of “old” images from last month were stuck in the optimization queue. Version 2.9.7 contains a queue debugging page that lets you view and clear this. Clearing all queues appears to have taken care of things.

for posterity, the main issue was that there were “old” attachments from a month or two ago stuck in the queue, and thus it would take forever to get to the new ones. If you turn on debugging in newer versions, there is now a queue debugging page under the Media menu, which you can use to flush out the queue(s).
