Support » Plugin: The Google+ plugin » Not as advertised

  • … and CERTAINLY not supported!

In my mind “fully integrate Google+ with your WordPress site” would mean this plugin would facilitate moving WordPress posts to a Google+ Page. Sure couldn’t get it to do that – and asking for help is like talking to a brick wall.

Try going to their site – you’ll get a form on the Support page, only to find out within seconds that you’re trying to type in to a slider which is touting how wonderful they are. Not so much. If you’re gonna put a form on a page, put a form on the page NOT A PICTURE OF A FORM!

When people are coming to your support site, that means they’ve already been stymied by some aspect of the way your plugin works … or DOESN’T work.

Next step – I go to the Contact Us page. Finally a real form! ONLY TO BE OVERLAYED BY A BOX THAT INSISTS ON BECOMING A MEMBER.

Thank you, no. Too bad these folks decided to be more like Google (complicated way beyond necessity) and not so much like WordPress (quick and easy to implement).

Maybe some day someone will publish a better solution for this need.

    Hi @agilityjeff,

I’m really very sorry to hear you had any poor experience at all seeking support. I’d like to clarify though, we actually handle support for this plugin directly here:

Thanks too for your feedback. We’d love to look into all these things with you if you’d be willing to post a support topic through the above link.

Hoping we can discuss there there with ya. 🙂

The ubiquitous “sorry”. How about doing the job correctly from the start. The original poster simply pointed out issues that any dev would NOT have allowed in the wild.
    Grow up.

    Hi @monk3,

Thanks for your feedback as well, however the issue addressed mainly had to do with getting support, which is available for free here:

The integration features are detailed here:

We’d love to discuss any further concerns with it all through the forums in the link above.
