# Not allowing comments

 * I posted this one a few days ago, tried about everything, and am getting nowhere.
   So I’ll ask again. the site in question is [http://www.people-in-need.com](http://www.people-in-need.com)
   
   the issue is with the “Limericks” page in the Scribes Corner menu. The idea is
   that people can rate a limerick, but not comment on it. This page was created
   to group all the limericks onto the one page, and thus links to an alternate 
   URL which points to the “Limericks” category. Once created, I saved the page 
   as a draft, then went into the Bulk edit and changed comments to “do not allow”.
   Updated the lot, and published.I’ve done this for a good few other pages, but
   on the Limericks page it is vital that commenting is disabled. It is the one 
   page where “do not allow” has absolutely no effect, and comments can be left.
   I’ve deleted the page, rebuilt it, put it under a different menu, it will not
   disable comments. Has anybody any ideas as to what is going wrong and how to 
   disallow the comments in another way for this page?
