Not all images are getting optimized and replaced

Hello!

I have WordPress page where only some images are getting optimized and replaced by the WebP version. Other images are working fine.

Apparently, I couldn’t find the optimized version of the images that are not getting replaced, so for some reason, Litespeed is not detecting them in order to optimize them.

Any idea why this may be happening?

Hi,

If images are not uploaded into Media (as if images are from other plugin ,or manually uploaded by FTP into site) , then LSCPW does not know the existence of these images

in some cases, webp could be larger than original , in such case, webp will be dropped

for replacement , if images are loaded by JS/CSS , then it might not be detected/repalced by LSCWP , the reliable way on replacement is HTML tag

Hey! Thanks for your reply.

The images were uploaded using the WordPress upload feature. So they appear on the mediums tab.

This images were uploaded straight out of photoshop, so they weren’t optimize at all.

Also, the images are on a tag.

It is a really strange issue… Is there a way I can specifically select an image to optimize?
