 * I get this response when trying to insert an already uploaded and crunched image
   into any page or post:
 * Not Acceptable
 * An appropriate representation of the requested resource /WP/wp-admin/media-upload.
   php could not be found on this server.
 * Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument
   to handle the request.
 * This is a clean load of WordPress.. Everything was wiped without a backup (by
   accident – stoopid – ouch) so, i am starting over. The problem exists in all
   the themes I’ve tried, even the default themes…

 * Not Acceptable
 * An appropriate representation of the requested resource /WP/wp-admin/options-
   permalink.php could not be found on this server.
 * Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument
   to handle the request.

 * There are a few ways to resolve this problem. First you may create a new post
   along with any image and see what happens. If it is OK, the rest is easy.
 * Check your posts from the dashboard. If all posts are present, there is nothing
   much to worry. If no posts are shown there, you need to get the backup database.
   If you have a previously backed up database, you can use that. You can also contact
   your host who may help you with a back up.
 * Try these, and report here the results. If no database is available from any
   source, there are a few other ways to retrieve your contents.

 * I really am not trying to recreate from the backup – I am simply trying to create
   new pages, posts, etc… Fresh load of everything. Starting over.
 * I cannot create and save (drafts even) new posts or pages… why??? I’ve followed
   the threads using the keyword search “unacceptable” – done all they suggested–
   without any success.

 * did you wipe the original database Is there a chance that you are overwriting
   to the original database. Have a look and see what is there.

 * [@snowprophoto](https://wordpress.org/support/users/snowprophoto/),
 * Your site has been hacked/ defaced on 19th April. I think perhaps you know about
   it. Probably one or two pages are left, as your Google sitemap cache shows.
 * Look at this link: [http://no-safe.org/m/29243](http://no-safe.org/m/29243)
 * I will also be posting a report and screenshot of it in my site for my own info,
   and for the knowledge of others.
 * So, if you do not have any backups, or if your hosts cannot give a backup of
   a date prior to April 19, you can delete whatever is left and start from scratch.
   You cannot recreate soon over 1000 pages.
 * As you claim, your site was not accidentally deleted.
 * Anyway, there is no virus/ malware scare now, and anyone can visit the above
   link or your site.
 * And tighten the security from your side, and alert your host Host Papa.

 * I guess then that is the second time i been hacked by the same guy. Cleaned it
   up once. inserted WP hardening, security, changed all sorts of passwords, etc.
   d—. So. I think i am done with WordPress.
    I am simply weary of this nonsense.
   I am a photographer, not a coder. These people should be hung. The amount of
   work I invested in my site equals to 10s of 1000s of dollars. This amounts to
   grand larceny. I wish someone could find this a–h—.

 * I’l see what my host says – I just contacted them.

 * The problem is not really WordPress. You’re on a crappy web host known to be
   insecure. Your account can be compromised by other insecure accounts at hostpapa.
 * Bluehost is a very secure shared host that has few problems with hacking. If
   you do a clean install of WP and use strong passwords, you will be fine on Bluehost.
   Export your pages/posts and images with the export option – or export your database–
   and move to a better host.

 * songdogtech said it right. I just did not mention about hostpapa’s insecurity
   which I also knew is rather insecure. As I mentioned, and as you yourself admit
   now you were hacked even before. But you were making your complaints as if what
   happened to you was a WordPress problem. I checked about the possibility of getting
   hacked only after trying all other possibilities.
 * However, as songdogtech advised, you may better switch over to a secure host
   like Bluehost.
 * [@songdogtech](https://wordpress.org/support/users/songdogtech/), I don’t think
   that all her posts are in the host’s database now. They are defaced. Only a few
   posts out of over 1000 pages in her sitemap are left and what are not defaced
   are now linked to her site when I checked up last. So, she has to either depend
   on a previous backup or ask her host to provide one that was backed up before
   the site was hacked.

 * 2 questions guys (and thank you for taking the time….)
    1. How are you all able
   to look into my backend???
 * and
 * 2. should i be worried that you can?
 * Again.. not a coder – nor do I want to be…

 * Interesting question!
 * I think, if you solve your problem in the proper way, you yourself may be able
   to answer the first part of your question. You may be wondering how I could find
   out many facts, though you did not provide such info. The answer is that most
   people who know how the internet works can find out what I did.
 * And about the second part, you need not have any such worries. We are professionals
   in what we do and have our own ethics. The same question can be asked to you
   by one of your clients. Don’t you think so?
 * And another implication of your question can be if we can be of any cause of
   worry. Is it not?
 * The simplest answer is that if we are like that we would not keep our own websites
   and keep a clean web-identity. Hackers mostly do not leave any trace at all about
   their whereabouts.
