Hello. I have the free version of site reviews (Version 7.2.13) and I wish to upgrade to premium for this simple site but there are issues I can not find answers to.

    1. I can not find the setting spercify the number of reviews to display per page for one. I have the excerpt length set to 55 words. There are 11 total reviews. Only 5 display. Enable paginated URL’s is set to YES.
    2. Secondly, in the wordpress backend… there is a list of reviews under ALL REVIEWS .. name, email, rating … then a thumbtack image and a checkmark image. There is NO actual review to see or maybe EDIT. On ALL REVIEWS page.. the reviwer names are listed and SOME are link text but some are greyed out and NOT link text. I just created one 2 days ago with the email (its required) and it is not a link.. but in any case… NO links to ‘EDIT’ or DELETE … display when hovering over the NAME of the reviwer… email addresses are not links and most are not displaying… Rating shows the stars… thumbtacks are all greyed out.. as are checkmarks and there’s no explaination as to what those are ??
    3. Yes I have made sure all emails are working. WP SMTP PRO and the website admin email and the email set in Site Reviews are correct. I have wp cron status checker insatlled and cron runs. I am using divi4 and the web page is https://performanceairvenice.com/testimonials/ I have also
    4. I have deactivated and reactivated the plugin. I have done a HARD RESET. I would love to just UPGRADE to Premium Site Reviews if that would fix all these issues… but the webpage to upgrade specifies EURO and there is no other option to pay… perhaps paypal? US currency? Credit Card?? I have never encountered a Euro only payment gateway. Please advise.. but most importantly… there are no edit or delete links that display to edit a review and not all show… there is no pagination occuring… just 5 display on the page and any new overwrite the old. This is very frustrating.

Thank you for your help in solving these issues.

Please read the documentation for the shortcodes (WP Admin > Site Reviews > Help & Support > Shortcodes). All of the available shortcode options are documented there, including the display and pagination options.

    [site_reviews display="12" pagination="loadmore"]

Also, you may be happy to know that the next major version of Site Reviews (version 8.0) will provide native Divi Builder modules which you will be able to use in place of the shortcodes.

If you don’t see the moderation links when you hover over a review on the All Reviews admin page, then it means the User Role of your WordPress account does not have the required permissions/capabilities.

To fix this, log in with an admin account and then use the “Site Reviews > Tools > Repair Permissions” tool to fix the User Role capabilities for Site Reviews.

However, if your user account has a non-standard or custom User Role, then you will instead need to edit the role capabilities of that User Role to allow editing reviews. You can use the Members plugin to do this.

the reviewer names are listed and SOME are link text but some are greyed out and NOT link text.

If a name is displayed as a link, it means that the person who wrote the review is a user on your website and was logged in when they wrote the review. If the name is not a link, it means they were not logged in.

I would love to just UPGRADE to Premium Site Reviews if that would fix all these issues… but the webpage to upgrade specifies EURO and there is no other option to pay… perhaps paypal? US currency? Credit Card?? I have never encountered a Euro only payment gateway. Please advise..

Please use the chat feature or use the contact form on the Nifty Plugins website for any questions related to Site Reviews Premium.

I am the administrator of this website. I am the ONLY one. There are no users or other admins. I clicked repair permissions and HARD RESET. That made NO difference. I still do not see the text links for viewing or editing anything. As I said, I do not even see the REVIEW. I see the NAME AMAIL RATING a thumbtack pin and a checkmark. ALL ARE GREYED OUT. I will use the chat. I need this to work as it did and no longer does for admin purposes. Is there some sort of support for this plugin like PAYING to get it working and upgrade? I don’t have time for this back and forth.

For some reason… you aren’t understanding. So… it appears I have to BUY this plugin for 89 euros or 104.27 in order to SEE if it is going to SHOW THE EDIT features? lol THere is only ONE USER AND ONE ADMIN for this website and that is me and the plugin does not show any edit capabilities. So you are asking that I pay 104.27 to find out if it does ?

Are you able to send a screenshot of the “Site Reviews > All Reviews” page so I can see what you see? It should look something like this (when you hover over a review, the moderation links appear).

You can use https://imgur.com/ to upload a screenshot (it doesn’t require an account).

NO REVIEW IS EVEN SHOWING in the admin pages. That is what I am saying. THere are no links to click and there is NO REVIEW showing at all. They only show on the web page… and I have it set to show them all and it does not. It only shows 5. Don’t know where the rest are… they don’t display in the back end like I have said and there is only ONE admin account for this website … that is mine.

    Okay first of all:

No, you do not have to purchase anything to use Site Reviews or to edit reviews in the WordPress admin. If you want the additional features that are advertised on the Nifty Plugins website and premium support, then sure you can purchase that if you want. But the features offered in Site Reviews Premium addons are NOT required to use the Site Reviews plugin.

I don’t have time for this back and forth.

I understand that you are feeling frustrated but I’m here to help you solve your issue. Do you mind if we deescalate this discussion a little bit? Let’s start again.

It would really help me if I could see a screenshot or screen recording of what you see so that I can help you better. Is that possible?

The “Site Reviews > All Reviews” page should work exactly like the Posts > All Posts page in WordPress.

If there are no reviews showing on the admin side, but they are showing on the frontend, perhaps there is a caching issue on your website (i.e. maybe the frontend is displaying a cached version of your page).

    Try this:

    1. On the All Review page in the admin, click the “Add New Review” button on the top right and add a new review.
    2. Now go back to the All Reviews page.
    3. Do you see the review you just created?

Tom, I don’t provide a “log in and fix it” service here, but I’ll gladly spend as much time as is needed (for free) here on the WordPress support forums until we find the solution.

I also recommend you edit your post and remove your private email as it’s against the WordPress forum guidelines (and for your protection).

    You mentioned earlier:

I need this to work as it did and no longer does for admin purposes.

If you have created a review on the WordPress Admin side as suggested above and you still do not see any reviews on the “Site Reviews > All Reviews” page, then it’s possible that there is another plugin on your website that is causing a compatibility issue and breaking Site Reviews.

This would explain why you said it worked before but now it doesn’t.

The Site Reviews > Help & Support explains how you can troubleshoot this. And here is a screenshot of the troubleshooting steps for your reference:
