I think I have found what cause your plugin not to work.
I’m using WPML, the translation plugin and I’ve realised that the post I was trying to post was under the “french” section of my site, which is not the default section.
Is there a work aorund to be able to share a post that is written through the susection of the WPML section?

Sorry, it will not work with WPML for now because I need to study how WPML works first.
But I thought regardless, WPML has the same markup for the post and you are sharing the post as a whole instead of just a specific language.
So does the English section works?
It does work on the english page. It’s just a longer process because since it’s a photo blog in this case, it means that all the media needs to be copied through WPML plugin toy create a copy for the english version. So, less practical since I don’t even intend to translate this post to english.
Is this something you were actively looking to work on, WPML integration, or you meant it as a general statement when you say that you need to study hoe it works?
Nope, it is not something I am actively working on. I seldom work on new features of my plugins because I don’t do it for a living but as a hobby.
However if there are more people requesting it, I will see what I can do about it
Worst than what I thought actually.
Since I did some test earlier, I tried to make a copy of my post in French in English to see if I was able to see the draft when it was on the “English” side of things. Now, that I’ve made the test and that I’ve identified the problem, it is impossible for me to erase this copy of the post in English. WPML keeps remembering this copy I created and keeps on brining it back.
So, in the end, just so you know since I went through the process, it is not a solution to create a copy of the post in English just to be able to use the pug in to share a draft. It makes thing very much more complicated for no reason.
Obviously, this had to do with WPML. But I wanted to share to make sure you don’t share this as a solution.
Well, I would totally be interested in a version of your plug in that would understand how WPML is working !
