Support » Plugin: WP Cerber Security, Anti-spam & Malware Scan » Not able to perform a full scan… need help

  • Hello, we are a small non profit project in Dominican Republic, struggling to repair our recently hacked site. Following different guides, we’ve already overwritten all plugins, reinstalled WP, but it seems Cerber (I’m not sure) can’t find the exact culprit of this misfortune.

    Being a self-financed organization, we want to be sure, that purchasing a license we would be able to get rid of this trojan and restore our site.

    Our site is hosted on Easywp, and the scanner can’t perform a full scan with any settings, saying:
    Process has been aborted due to a server error.

    Read somewhere it’s related to CPU using, MySQL wait_timeout and things we can’t change on this hosting.

    [0] => MySQL server has gone away

    [1] => SELECT COUNT(scan_id) FROM wp_cerber_files WHERE scan_id = 1632417343

    [2] => 1632418095.1541

    [Scanner Main Settings]

    Load security engine: Legacy/Standard mode

    [Site Integrity]
    Monitor new files: Executable/All Files
    Monitor modified files: Executable/All Files

    Scan web server’s temporary directories: Yes/No
    Scan the sessions directory: Yes/No

    But at the same time the Quick Scan works with mentioned settings (Legacy/Standard mode; All Files; Yes; Yes). But I’m not sure, if the quick scan actually use this settings.

    My question is: will we be able to repair our site without changing the hosting, if we consider purchasing the license?
