Support » Plugin: WordPress Gallery Plugin - NextGEN Gallery » Not able to open customization

  • I’ll have to do some further testing to find out why this is taking place but I ran WP_DEBUB to see why I couldn’t open my customization panel to access my custom CSS.

It may be my theme, I’m running Themify Ultra v1.8.6 with the latest firmware. I’ll try to reactivate the plugin after I make the changes in my CSS, but I’m still left wondering why the plugin had this effect.

Just thought I would let you know. Nice plugin!

@syxguns – Thanks for the compliment although I’m not certain what you are referencing as I am not familiar with the Themify products and if they offer a custom method of customizations and/or use the default WordPress customizer … and which you are having troubles with.

You might also contact their support team for assistance as well.

I understand that it might be my theme but I decided to give you a little information with pictures. It might help narrow it down.

    Front-end Customization
    Back-end Customization
    Customization Panel
    Error Code

In the error code I know that it also mentions WooCommerce ShopDock but that error is not there when I disable NextGen Gallery.

Here are some other front-end development platforms:
    Beaver Builder
    Page Builder by SiteOrigin

I am not able to test with these other themes as I do not use them. I know a lot of developers that do so I thought I would give you a heads up. If you need a place to run testing with Themify just let me know and I will set up a demo site for you to test with.

I’m going to hopefully be able to get your plugin to work for me, as I’m doing a list of great plugins on my youtube channel. I will post a link to it in this thread for you.

@syxguns – You could try adding the following code snippet:

    add_filter( 'run_ngg_resource_manager', '__return_false' );

Although specifically where the conflict is I cannot say, it would appear to be more likely a false-positive if the issue is not within how the Themify advanced “customizer” is working.

PS: If the code snippet does not sort this out, please remove it as it is important to our third-party compatibility code.
