    Hi,

thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

Could you please provide more details here? What import method did you use? Are you getting error messages? What exactly is not happening as expected? Can you upload the CSV and/or Excel file somewhere for me to see?

    Regards,
    Tobias

Hey, thanks for the response. I used to import excel file using import option available on table press. But after the recent update, uploading excel or csv file is showing up Error 500.

    Hi,

ok, can you then please try again after setting the WP_DEBUG constant to true in your site’s wp-config.php file, via the instructions from https://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Debug ?
This should then show us more error information.

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Hi,

ok, so you are trying to import a CSV file, right?
Can you make that file available to me somehow, e.g. by uploading it or by sending it via email (the address is in the main plugin file “tablepress.php”)?

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Hi,

thanks for emailing me the CSV file. From what I can see, something went wrong in the program where this was saved from (Excel, maybe?).

If you open the CSV file in text editor, you will see many commas, which indicate a new cell – even though the table only has one column.
My recommendation: Open the table again in Excel and copy the data (i.e. the first column) into a new Excel file. Then, save to CSV again.

    Regards,
    Tobias

Thanks a lot. This worked like a charm.
