    Hi,

First of all: I’ve read various threads on this issue but what seems to have been the matter for other people is not what’s happening on my site – I think.

I’m selling digital goods, so I have Woocommerce settings > general set to “sell to all countries” and “disable shipping and shipping calculations”. Correct?

I’ve connected Woocommerce to PayPal and also to Mollie, which I’m using to enable a wide variety of payment methods.

I now want to do a test-purchase but when I go to the checkout page, I get the message “Sorry, it seems that there are no available payment methods for your state. Please contact us if you require assistance or wish to make alternate arrangements.”

I don’t get it as I’m selling digital goods worldwide and have multiple payment methods enabled so that basically anyone from anywhere can buy.

Good to know: I’m running a bilingual site on WPML and am using Woocommerce Multilingual. I’ve also sent this question to WPML.

    What am I missing?

    Thank you

    Hi!

It sounds like something may be going on here. I don’t believe it has anything to do with your settings, though you do not have to disable shipping calculations because you are selling digital goods, shipping won’t be an option if you have a virtual product.

I would check the PayPal logs to see if there is any indication as to why the payment is not showing. (Make sure debug is enabled https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/paypal-express-checkout/#section-15)

Would you mind sending a link over to your site so I can take a peek and see if I can spot any warnings or errors in the console log?

    Cheers!

    Hey Shane,

    Thanks for the reply.

    The product is at https://wonderfulwanderings.com/product/week-south-iceland-road-trip/

It still looks horrible as I just published it to be able to test it – the payment but also because my host noticed that as soon as I enabled Woocommerce, I had twice as many database requests :/

So I looked at the error logs and while I also have PayPal enabled there isn’t a PayPal error but there are two errors for Mollie, the other payment methods processor I’m using.

One error logged is basically a very long repetition of these lines:
2019-04-03T15:45:18+00:00 DEBUG getApiPaymentMethods: Could not load Mollie methods (test): Error executing API call (401: Unauthorized Request): Missing authentication, or failed to authenticate. Documentation: https://docs.mollie.com/guides/authentication (Mollie\Api\Exceptions\ApiException) – but my API is authenticated

    The other is just:
2019-04-02T17:29:39+00:00 DEBUG Mollie_WC_Helper_Data::deleteTransients: Mollie settings saved, delete transients

I’ve contacted Mollie support as well and hope to hear back from them later today.

Hey again, those errors almost always are issues with the credentials you are using, so I would check on that with Mollie and then see if there’s perhaps a space in the credentials or something similar.

Hopefully that helps! Have a great one!

Sorted it out with Mollie, thanks!
