Not able to change homepage …

    Hi,

    I am using Polylang but I am not ready with all languages. It will have 3 languages but only one is ready now.

    The homepage changes from time to time.
    When I try to change homepage using [Appearence>> Customize >> Front Page>> Front page displays>> static page>>]

    I have also tried to change it through Settings>> Reading>> Front Page>> Front page displays>> static page>>
    I am able to choose another page, but it does not save my option.
    Instead, i get this message:
    [The chosen static front page must be translated in all languages.]

    I am still working on the other 2 languages and do not want the other languages are shown untill. So I know I donot have this specific page translated into all 3 languages.

    How to solve it?
    Can this be changed in the future? I mean, that it does not check anymore of a page is translated in all languages. Or is it not possible?

    Hi!

    Did you already create the 3 languages or did you create only one?

    Hi, thanks!

    I have create all 3 already.
    for the primary language I have already pages. but not yet for the other languages.
    For the other 2 languages I have only drafts.

    I added this comportment and error message to avoid tons of support requests because a lot of people did not translate their static front page. You can circumvent the issue by temporarily de-activating Polylang, setting your static front page and re-activating Polylang.
