    I want to add padding around table in both sides: right and left. I have added padding like this in my page:
    @media screen and (min-width: 980px) {
    p,h1,h2,h3,h4,h5 {
    padding-top: 0px;
    padding-right: 170px;
    padding-bottom: 0px;
    padding-left: 280px;
    } }
    .site-title, .site-description { padding-left: 0px; }

    It works fine for me, but table does not remain within this padding. I am using twenty twelve wordpress theme. Any guesses?

    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    You will need to target the table elements as well, using the CSS like

    .tablepress th,
    .tablepress td {
      padding: 4px !important;
    }

    Regards,
    Tobias
