Not able to access admin console after Installing and activating Shortcoder

    I installed shortcoder and activated the plugin. But not it is not letting me access WordPress admin console. Getting below error.

    It looks some issue with your WordPress installation.

    Shortcoder is not seen in the call stack.

    To proceed further please rename the plugins/shortcoder folder using FTP and see if the admin page is accessible.

    If admin page is still not accessible then you can post this issue in WP core forums.

    Also I guess this happens when installing any plugin. Try installing someother plugin, I guess the issue would occur.

    Thank you Aakash. Everything was working fine till I activated Shortcoder plugin. Is there any other way it could have caused it?

    Hi,

    Could you please tell the WordPress version you are using ?

    Also it seems like a WordPress issue while saving information to the database on activating the plugin.

    Error says this wpdb::check_safe_collation core WP function is not present which is very unlikely.

    I am using version 5.2.2. Is there any easy way to resolve it?

    Hi @albertsfo1,

    Can you please try activating the plugin again ?

    Does it happen everytime you activate the plugin ?

    Thank you @vaakash . It is not letting me access admin console. I tried removing the plugin folder through FTP. That is not helping.

    Can you please post a topic in WordPress forum with the title ? Call to undefined method wpdb::check_safe_collation() and add the above error ? Also please describe that you were activating the plugin.

    Deleting the plugin should recover. If not then it is some issue with your DB or host configuration itself.
